PORTLAND, ME – September 18, 2026 – The Maine Mariners, proud affiliates of the NHL's Boston Bruins and AHL's Providence Bruins, have added a goaltender for the 2026-27 season, agreeing to terms with Christian Propp.
A 27-year-old goaltender from Oakville, ON, Propp saw time with three ECHL organizations in 2025-26, appearing for the Greensboro Gargoyles, Tulsa Oilers, and Norfolk Admirals. Between the three teams, he posted a 3.96 goals-against average and an .870 save percentage in 11 games. Propp also made five appearances last season with the Pensacola Ice Flyers of the Southern Professional Hockey League.
Propp also played for the Rapid City Rush and Wheeling Nailers in 2024-25, and has appeared in 37 career ECHL games, posting a 3.61 GAA and an .888 SV%.
Before entering pro hockey, Propp played his junior hockey in the Ontario Hockey League and collegiately in USports at Wilfred Laurier University.

The Mariners 2026-27 season begins on Saturday, October 17th at Worcester with the Home Opener one week later on Saturday, October 24th, a 1 PM puck drop against the Railers.
