Mission Statement

The Maine Mariners Foundation is dedicated to strengthening social-emotional wellness in Maine communities through the power of winter sport. We connect people to communal recreation, learning experiences on and off the ice, and hockey fandom, creating accessible pathways for every generation to play, learn, and connect.

We provide opportunities to engage off the ice through mentorship and education, with a focus on reducing screentime use and loneliness and connecting communities.

We build community and belonging through the power of hockey, leveraging the Maine Mariners energy and ability to bring people together at the rink and beyond.
