PORTLAND, ME – September 11, 2026 – The Maine Mariners, proud affiliates of the NHL's Boston Bruins and AHL's Providence Bruins, have announced the signing of forward David Jankowski to a contract for the 2026-27 season.
A 29-year-old forward from Dundas, ON, Jankowski has racked up over 200 career games in his ECHL career, playing most of last season for the Jacksonville Icemen. In 62 games between Jacksonville and the Norfolk Admirals in 2025-26, he posted 32 points (9 goals, 23 assists).
Jankowski spent the first two plus seasons of his professional career with the Wheeling Nailers, from the end of the 2022-23 season through 2025. He played collegiately for St. Lawrence University (where he was captain in 2021-22) as well as his final season at Michigan Tech.

The Mariners 2026-27 season begins on Saturday, October 17th at Worcester with the Home Opener one week later on Saturday, October 24th, a 1 PM puck drop against the Railers.
