PORTLAND, ME – August 3, 2026 – The Maine Mariners, proud affiliates of the NHL's Boston Bruins and AHL's Providence Bruins, have announced new start times for several home games in the 2026-27 season. The changes are highlighted by the Home Opener on Saturday, October 24th, which will be a 1:00 PM start.
Friday games, which have previously taken place at 7:15 PM, have been shifted to 6:30 PM start times. Saturday games remain 6:00 puck drops, with Sunday starts at 3:00 PM. Most weeknight games will begin at 6:30 PM.
In addition to the special 1:00 PM start time for the Home Opener, the Mariners will play at 6:00 PM on Thanksgiving Eve (Wednesday, November 25th), 1:00 PM on New Year’s Eve (Thursday, December 31st), 3:00 PM on Presidents’ Day (Monday, February 15th), and 10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 9th for the annual School Day Game.

The Maine Mariners 2026-27 season begins on the road at Worcester on Saturday, October 17th at 6:05 PM.
