PORTLAND, ME – October 25, 2023 – Forward Curtis Hall was reassigned from the American Hockey League’s Providence Bruins to the Maine Mariners on Wednesday. Hall, a 2018 draft pick of the Boston Bruins, played briefly for the Mariners last season, including their entire first round playoff series.
The 6’4, 216-pound forward from Chagrin Falls, OH was selected by the Bruins in the 4th round of the 2018 NHL Entry Draft, at #119 overall. Coming out of Yale University, Hall joined Providence for the 2020-21 season, and has skated in 102 AHL regular season games and two playoff contests over the past three years.
Hall was originally assigned to the Mariners last November and played in eight games, before returning to Maine for the postseason. He scored five goals in the regular season, including the Teddy Bear Toss goal on December 4th, and then averaged a point per game in the first-round playoff series against Reading. Hall scored goals in three of the six games, including key goals in games four and five on home ice.
While at Yale, Hall was named to the ECAC Second All-Star Team and the NCAA All-Ivy League Second Team in 2019-20. Prior to college, he played two seasons in the United States Hockey League for the Youngstown Phantoms, close to his hometown.
