PORTLAND, ME – October 4, 2026 – The Maine Mariners, proud affiliate of the NHL’s Boston Bruins and AHL’s Providence Bruins, announced their initial 2026 training camp roster on Sunday. There are 24 players on the roster as camp gets underway with the first on-ice session at the University of Southern Maine.
Below is the initial training camp roster, with all non-ECHL contracts noted in parenthesis:
Forwards (14): Ben Allison, Matthew Carlson (tryout), Robert Cronin (AHL-Providence), Wyllum Deveaux, Ryan Francis, Stephen Harper, Linus Hemstrom, David Jankowski, Ryan McGuire, Mason Primeau, Nolan Renwick (AHL-Providence), Jackson Stewart, Antonio Venuto, Jack Works
Defensemen (7): Nick Anderson, Jack Bar, Jaxon Bellamy, Connor Doherty, Owen Gallatin, Xavier Henry, Michael Underwood
Goaltenders (3): Luke Cavallin (NHL-Boston), Max Lundgren (NHL-Boston), Christian Propp
Additional players may continue to join the roster throughout the next two weeks. The active roster will be made up of 21 players when the regular season begins, dropping to 20 on November 15th.

The Mariners and Worcester Railers play their annual preseason home-and-home series starting Friday, October 9th at The Harold Alfond Forum at the University of New England in Biddeford, a 7 PM puck drop. Tickets are free with a suggested donation to the Maine Mariners Foundation. The teams also meet on Saturday, October 10th at Worcester Ice Center, also at 7 PM. Both preseason games will be broadcast (audio only) on the Mariners Radio Network via the Mixlr App or at MaineMariners.com/listen.

The Mariners 2026-27 season begins on Saturday, October 17th at Worcester with the Home Opener one week later on Saturday, October 24th, a 1 PM puck drop against the Railers.
